Chapter Three: Publish or Perish
Book lovers! Linden Tree Publishing is proud to invite you to join us this February for the 1st Annual Susquehanna Valley Writer’s Festival. This will be the culmination of months searching for the newest and brightest writer in the region. We have narrowed it down to four finalists and now it’s time for you to meet them for yourselves!
Join us at the Bloomsburg Public Library, our generous hosts for the event, for three days of readings and discussions presented by our finalists! Each day you will have the opportunity to hear snippets of their work and join in discussions with them about their specialties. And it will all end with a fabulous party, held at the library, where we will announce the winner!
The winner of the festival will receive: a $50,000 prize, a publishing contract with Linden Tree Publishing for their winning entry, and a book tour once their work is published! And not only will you get to meet our finalists and hear their work, you will also have the opportunity to meet our esteemed panel of judges. Each of our judges is an expert in the literary field and have graciously offered their knowledge to help pick the winning entry.
So please join us to help celebrate all of these talented authors and their work!
This fundraiser will support the partnership between the Bloomsburg Public Library, the Columbia County Traveling Library, and the Orangeville Public Library. Come out and make fun memories with friends old and new while supporting the community, programs, and collections of our Columbia County libraries.

Ticket Details
Each ticket includes:
Delicious food including great tastes from outstanding local restaurants*;
Unlimited non-alcoholic beverages;
One drink voucher for the cash bar;
Interactive event – Three floors of murder, mystery, and intrigue!**
Beer and wine will be available, as well as select specialty cocktails at the cash bar (valid ID required).
*Dinner, including tasty offerings from area restaurants, is served buffet-style with plenty of delicious food. However, please be advised that it is not a seated dining experience, except for those who indicate they have mobility restrictions.
**There is a place on the ticket form to indicate if you or any in your party have mobility restrictions. We will make accommodations to tailor the experience.
