TODDLER TIME

Twenty minutes of fun every Monday at 9:15 AM will be waiting for toddlers age 18 months to 3 years old, they can enjoy stories, songs and activities. Registration is not required, but adult accompaniment is.

 

 

IT'S A CARD PARTY!

GAME NIGHT goes all cards on Thursday, April 4rd, with four brand-new games. Drop by at 6:30 PM to join the fun. Kids, bring along your favorite grownup--they'll have fun, too!

 

 

NEW CLUB FOR AIR ENTHUSIASTS--POSTPONED

Beginner, intermediate or expert: drop by every month to learn a new design, or teach one to your fellow fliers. It's the PAPER AIRPLANE CLUB & FLY-IN, meeting every Monday after school until 4:30. Paper and instructions will be supplied; folding will be followed by a chance to try out your creations. The Air Traffic Controller will be out on Monday, March 30th, but will be back in the tower April 6th.

 

 

BOOK BUDDY READING HELP


Our therapy dogs, Riley, Chloe and Bella will be here on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to help children practice their reading aloud skills. Their next visit is on April 14th.

 

 

 

 

 

TUMBLEBOOKS--NEW TITLES ADDED!

Tumblebooks for younger children features online stories. The perfect spot on a rainy day! All you need is the Flash plug-in on your computer (available for free at www.macromedia.com)Find out what's new in every category: choose your category, then click on the dropdown menu under "Sort by..." and choose "Newest." Just click TUMBLEBOOKS for preschool to grade 1 material. Happy tumbling!


EReader, iPad and mobile device users, click on the drop-down menu "CHOOSE" on the upper right and pick Mobile for tumbling fun wherever you go. You can also find children's books on BOOKFLIX, part of the POWER Library group of databases.

 

 

A CHALLENGE FOR YOUNG READERS
