Commissioner Young Discusses His Novel

 

Columbia County Commissioner Chris Young will discuss his novel, "Hiker and the Stranger," in the library on August 26th at 6:30 p.m. Chris will talk about the writing process, from idea to publication. The novel is a sweeping story of the end of times and how one ordinary man serves an extraordinary role in God's plan.

 

 

MOOSE EXCHANGE ARTISTS SHOW AT LIBRARY

The Library and Art Resources Transfer's Distribution to Underserved Communities Library Program present works from the Moose Exchange, July 15th through August 29th.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see a selection of pieces by some of the artists who had been showing at the Moose Exchange before their devastating fire in January. Drop by anytime during Library hours and tour the exhibit on the first-floor walls.

LONELY SOCK CLUB RETURNS!

It's crafts for teens and adults.
Join us in the Fireplace Lounge on Thursday, August 28th, at 6:30 PM for crafting fun. Meet others interested in the art of the handmade. This month, it's not-the-model-you-learned-at-camp Ojo de Dios. These are miniatures, and little works of art. All materials will be provided for at least one piece.
