SCOTT TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!

In the 2015 proposed budget, Scott Township Supervisors have reduced the Library allocation from $6,000 to $2,100, a 65% decrease to $.42/capita. This decrease equals 1.3% of the library budget. Please contact your Supervisors and ask them to restore library funding to at least $1/capita.

NEW COLLECTORS' CROCK FEATURES FOUNTAIN

This year's Friends of the Library collectors' crock depicts one of Bloomsburg's most iconic sights: the Fountain. As in the past, each crock is numbered, hand-thrown and hand-decorated. They are $40 each. You may pick up an order form at the Library, or print one from HERE. This is the third crock in the series.

 

 

LONELY SOCK CLUB RETURNS

It's crafts for teens and adults.

 

December's project is another variation on tradition, but you won't need to raid the barn to make these Straw Stars. Join the Club at 6:00 PM on the first floor, Thursday, December 18th. All materials will be provided.

 

 

BOOK BUDDY READING HELP


Our therapy dogs, Riley, Chloe and Bella will be here on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to help children practice their reading aloud skills. Their next visit is on December 16th.
