Here's the problem:

You like to read.

You spend your workday in a town with a library full of books, audio-books and magazines. The only time you can get in is during your lunch break, on the way home, or on an already hectic Saturday.

No time to browse.

Here's the answer:

Do your browsing online.
Call, fax or e-mail your choices. We'll bag your selection and have it ready for checkout when you or a co-worker comes in to pick it up.

Here's How it works:

Browse our catalog from the link above. It will give you author, title, call number and availability. We'll need to know these, your name, and a contact number: phone, fax, or e-mail.

Since orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, please include second and third choices.

We'll make every effort to have orders faxed or e-mailed overnight, or called in by
9:30 AM, ready for pickup by noon.

Please plan to pick up your order at least 15 minutes before Library closing.

Do I need a library card to use LEC?

Yes, you do. It's easy to become a member. Find out out how by clicking HERE.

Limits?

How many books can you carry?
Patrons are limited to eight magazines at a time.
Videos and DVDs are not currently eligible for Library Express Checkout.

Who can check out?

One person from each business may check out orders for several co-workers, but must have cards for each patron ready to present for checkout.

What if I can't get in by closing?

Call, and we will hold your order overnight. Otherwise, orders will be returned to the shelf.

What if all my choices are checked out?

You have the option to place anything on reserve if it isn't available or somebody beats you to it. Check the box on the form and we'll hold the item for you to pick up as soon as it comes back. (25¢ charge for each reserve, payable at pickup.)
